WORLD SHOPPING GUIDE does not sell any products, do not collect any orders or interfere in the commercial relationship between a shop and its customers. The cards are documentary references: they present a sign, its category, its activity and a link to its official domain.

The site was designed to answer a very common question: "What shops can I consult for this type of purchase?"It allows you to start a search by need, then discover several actors before continuing the comparison directly with the sellers.

Method

Classification and verification

The generic illustrations of the site and guides are generated by IA and reported as such. They illustrate a subject without representing a recommended product or attesting to the performance of a store. Real photos and logos of third parties are only used to identify or illustrate a particular listing of the directory where necessary.

The "Documented Descriptions Only" filter allows you to view the records accompanied by an official source and a consultation date. In all cases, check offers, terms of sale and delivery destinations directly with the merchant before a purchase.

Shops are classified by universe and specialty from the catalogue information. Without a search, the directory adopts a natural alphabetical order. When a term is entered, the name and domain correspondence pass before those found only in a specialty, category or description. A separate sorting also allows the results to be grouped by universe or specialty.

The level of detail varies according to the sheets. The "Most Detailed Sheets" sort allows you to first consult those that present more information, without assigning a mark to the products, prices or the merchant service.

The documented descriptions are based on the public pages of the signs. When available, the source and the date of the consultation are shown on the card. The country of origin, legal status or geographical coverage cannot be deducted from the domain name alone.

A category can bring together several different uses. Its advice is used to formulate the right questions, and then the fact sheets identify actors to compare. Subcategories and keywords facilitate research; they do not guarantee that a specific product is available today.

A proposal received by the form must be examined before publication. To help verify a sheet, indicate the official domain, the specialty and the page of the merchant confirming the information. The presence of an international sign does not confirm that it delivers all the French addresses: this point must be verified on its site.

The presence of a shop does not constitute a certification, a quality label, or a commercial guarantee. SEO means only that the actor has been identified and classified in the directory. Offers, prices, stocks and conditions of sale remain the responsibility of the sites concerned and may evolve without notice.

Before any purchase, it remains essential to check the actual seller, the terms of delivery, the terms of return, the guarantees, the means of contact and recent opinions. This caution applies as much for a known sign as for a small shop discovered for the first time.

Correct a shop listing

Shops sometimes change address, activity, owner or service conditions. Despite the controls performed, information may become incomplete or outdated between two updates.

To report a domain, category or description to be corrected, use the proposal form by giving the name of the shop, the official address and the elements to be checked. The more accurate the report, the more quickly and useful the correction can be examined.
